Our Future

Goodmorning ladies and gentlement, it is an honor for me to be able to stand here and deliver my speech about our future the war between reality and dreams.

First of all, I would like to define what reality and dreams are. Reality is situation in real life and dream is something that we want to reach. Today, I would like to talk to you about the war that is going on between these two. As a teenager, of course I have a big dream. Maybe one day I want to be a popstar or maybe an astronaut. But, I have to face reality. This means that I have to put an effort to reach my dreams.

The problem is.. why is there war betwen these two? Actually to me reality and dreams will not clash with each other. Because, reality without dream is nothing. Because you have no goals to achieve and so as dreams without reality is also pointless because you can only dream about it but can not bring it to reality.

So, I think that the war between these two does not exist. Until I realize it really does. Because there are people who are so caught up in their dreams that they are afraid to face reality, also a lot of people are so comfortable with reality that they do not dare to dream. And there are also people who think that their dreams are impossible to be achieved in this reality, so instead of trying to make them real, they decide just to let them be dreams. This is why there is war between these two.

Then, how we as young people resolve this war? In life people need balance. So, do not be afraid to dream just because you are on a greenzone or because your reality is too impossible for yourdream. How would you know the result before you try? and for you people who dream big, do not afraid to face reality because dreams can be achieved if you put enough effort on it.

So, do not be afraid to dream and do not get too drawn in dreaming. That is how the war between reality and dreams can be resolve. It is based on how you face it. We can make our lives the way they are or we can make our lives more interesting by achieving our dreams in reality. The choice is ours, and is based entirely on the decision we each individually make today. Thank you.
